光西寺は浄土真宗本願寺派 (西本願寺）のお寺です。島根県石見の国でお念仏の道場として、仏縁の深い人々の篤い思いによって建立されましたが、山陰の過疎化現象の波を受け法灯護持が困難となり現在は大阪に法灯を移し新たに仏縁を結んだ門信徒の皆様と共に寺院活動を進めてまいりました。平成３年６月よりこの地にて寺院活動を開始し、様々な問題に直面いたしましたが総代様をはじめ門信徒の皆様方の暖かいご懇念のおかげをもちまして平成１３年１０月１３日に立派な　本堂　庫裏ならびに納骨堂の落慶法要をさせていただきました。大変有難いことと感謝いたしております。しかし本堂建立はできましたがまださらに大きな問題がありました。光西寺の後継者がいないということでした。ご縁あって平成１７年４月より入寺するにいたった次第でございます。４月２日３日と大阪の光西寺本堂の仏前におきましてめでたく副住職継職法要を済ませることが出来ました。今後有縁の皆様のお力をささえとして「心のよりどころ」となる開かれたお寺をめざしてより一層の充実に微力を尽くしてまいりますのでどうぞ、一段のお力添えをお願いする次第でございます。

The vice-chief priest Buddhist service was able to be happily finished before the Buddha of kousaiji Hondo of three days and Osaka on April 2. Since poor ability is rendered to much more fullness aiming at the open temple which will become "strong emotional attachment" by considering an owner edge's power of you as a support from now on, please give me one step of aid pleasing. .
